Neutral density filters on the inside? Magnetic clip-in filters from Kolari Vision

Kolari Vision has released a collection of magnetized clip-in filters for Canon RF mount cameras. These filters are CNC-machined, aluminum frames with high quality glass that sit inside the camera body in front of the digital sensor. Options include solid neutral density filters, diffusion mist filters, light pollution filters, infrared filters, and other speciality options.

These clip-in filters allow photographers and videographers to use any lens (even ultra wide angles) without worrying about circular step-up rings or re-mounting filters when swapping lenses. No additional vignette either, which is commonly a problem at wide angle focal lengths. Optically and mechanically, the filters are high quality and well made.

Supported cameras include the EOS R, RP, R5, R6, R7 and R10. All cameras (except the R5 and R6) require an additional $1 magnetized plate also sold by Kolari.

The R5 and R6 do not require a magnetized plate (costing $5 each), but I would absolutely buy one. Kolari didn't offer these plates when I first reviewed the filters (because the filters could magnetically attach on their own), and the filters caused light scratches around the camera interior when used on their own. If buying these Kolari filters for the R5 and/or R6, I would definitely buy the magnetized plates to avoid cosmetic damage.
